Step 1: Preparation of the USB Drive
Acquire a USB drive with a memory capacity of less than 128 GB. It is crucial to ensure that the file system of the USB drive is FAT32.
Step 2: Creating the Update Folder
Open the USB drive and establish a new folder. Name this folder precisely as "update".
Step 3: Preparing the Boot Screen Image
Prepare the JPG image that you wish to set as the boot screen. Name this image as "stalogo". Please note the following requirements:
- The image must be in the JPG format. No other formats will be accepted.
- The resolution should be 1024*600.
- The size of the image must be less than 100kb. An ideal size would be approximately 60kb.
Step 4: Copying the Image
Copy the prepared image into the "update" folder.
Step 5: Updating the Boot Screen
Power on your stereo and insert the USB drive into the USB port of the stereo. Once the stereo detects the update file, it will automatically update and set the image as the boot screen.
